A solid-wood wall sconce on a magnetic mount, with a motion sensor that triggers low ambient light when someone passes, for a hallway, a stair landing, or a child's bedroom.

The light is a turned solid-wood stick, walnut or ashwood, held to the wall by a flat magnetic disc that mounts to any metal surface or the included wall plate. Lift the light off its mount when you want it in hand; the magnetic disc holds it in place on the wall. The motion sensor on the side wakes the LED for 30 seconds, then dims back to standby. USB-rechargeable, no wiring required.
